Overview

Total Active Hub is a workplace movement and engagement platform. Each employer gets its own branded Active Hub, a dedicated movement space tailored to the organisation, and employees log activity through the myActiveHub app, automatically from a wearable or manually. That movement feeds personal goals, team challenges, company-wide events, rewards and charitable giving.

The core idea is inclusion. Gym discount schemes only reach the minority of people who go to the gym, and everyone else gets forgotten. Walking the dog, gardening or a shift on your feet all count. Think of it as a step challenge that grew up: it tracks time spent moving rather than punishing people who can't hit 10,000 steps.

Pros
Genuinely inclusive
Because Active Hub counts minutes of any movement rather than steps or gym visits, people with different fitness levels, abilities and jobs can all take part. That's why it lands well with frontline and shift workers, not just office staff.
Wellbeing and CSR in one programme
Employees convert movement into Active Points they can swap for high street vouchers, charity donations or even trees, and solo or team challenges can link straight to JustGiving or GiveWheel fundraising pages. At Arbuthnot Latham, 76% participation funded 8,668 school meals. That's a story your ESG report, your comms team and your employees will all want to tell.

Key Features & Benefits

Branded Active Hub and Mobile App

What It Does

Each employer gets a branded movement space open to the whole workforce, whatever their starting point. Employees track movement anywhere through the myActiveHub app, synced from Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin or Strava, recorded with the app's GPS, or logged manually. A personal dashboard shows progress, activity, streaks and goals in one place.

Why It Matters

A branded hub feels like your programme rather than another third-party app, and because anyone can log any kind of movement, participation isn't limited to people who own a fitness tracker.

Challenges and Company-Wide Events

What It Does

Employees create and join team challenges, Active Hub runs fresh platform-wide challenges every month, and employers can stage themed multi-team events across the whole company.

Why It Matters

Monthly challenges stop the programme going stale, and company-wide events connect people across sites and teams who'd otherwise never interact.

Active Points, Rewards and Fundraising

What It Does

Everyday movement converts into Active Points that employees exchange for high street vouchers, charity donations or trees. Solo and team challenges can link directly to JustGiving or GiveWheel to raise money for causes.

Why It Matters

Rewards and causes give people a reason to join who'd never sign up for a fitness challenge, and they turn wellbeing into a CSR and ESG story.

Content, Workouts and Live Webinars

What It Does

An inspiration library with practical tips to move more, live webinars from experts on movement and mental performance, and on-demand guided workouts for all levels through Les Mills Lite content, which employees can also track.

Why It Matters

Not everyone knows where to start. Guided workouts and expert sessions give less active employees an easy first step, and they link physical activity to mental performance.

Implementation & Support

Setup Process

Active Hub is one of the quickest wellbeing platforms to launch. For the standard platform, its service level is 7 working days from contract to go-live, covering the build of your branded hub and all onboarding assets. A bespoke platform with a customised design and launch event takes 14 to 28 working days, depending on complexity.

Rollouts start with a pre-launch workshop to shape the programme around your organisation: which challenges and events to run, which causes to support, and how rewards will work. A dedicated account lead then handles onboarding and launch comms and stays with you through regular check-ins.

Technical Requirements

  • Employees download the myActiveHub app (iOS and Android)
  • A wearable is optional: the app syncs with Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin and Strava, or tracks by GPS and manual logging
  • An employee list or sign-up link for onboarding
  • No HR system integration required

Support Options

For employees: The app, onboarding comms, technical support, live webinars and on-demand content.

For employers: A dedicated account lead, regular check-ins, the admin portal and reporting dashboard.

“At ASICS, we were founded on the belief that movement has the power to uplift both body and mind. Our name comes from the Latin phrase Anima Sana In Corpore Sano — a Sound Mind in a Sound Body — and that philosophy continues to guide everything we do today. By partnering with Total Active Hub, we’re making everyday movement more accessible, inclusive and rewarding for our employees across EMEA. We believe that when people move, they don’t just support their physical health — they also nurture their mental wellbeing.”
